Okay i have a 10mb/s broadband package but mesured it with a online speed tester () and i only have 5 down however this is not my problem when noone else is using the wifi i only get a download speed on steam of 500kb/s i have a netgearwireless router and full bars at my computer with a usb 100mb/s wireless card thingy would using.

I got them last time because they were probably going to be more reliable than a standard desktop PC I built myself or bought from a manufacturer (they seemed to use pretty similar hardware anyway) but now it looks like all the workstations come with Xeon processors and video cards. After poking around a bit I'm not sure if my mom really needs workstations actually. If I lived anywhere near her I would probably just replace the failing hardware (the HDD) but since I literally live on the other side of the world right now I think it would be easier for her to just get two new computers and replace them. My mom is a lawyer with a small practice and two of the three computers in her office are slowly dying.
